A single shared light can multiply to add to the brightness of the world. Singers(s): Kids choir
Singer(s): Kids choir
Rough demo
@1990’s – inspired by watching a Christmas concert, I imagined a kids choir slowly lighting one, 2, 3, etc. candles by sharing the light of one initial candle, as a metaphor for how we can share and spread light around us. Would use LED candles in any actual performance.
Light one candle (light one candle) just from you to me
Light one candle (light one candle) I think we can agree
It will be so happy for us to see
Light one candle for you and me
Light two candles (light two candles) the dark will start to light
Light two candles (light two candles) oh won’t that be a sight
It will be so happy for us to see
When there’s two candles for you and me
Light three candles (Light three candles) we’ll feel warmth with the light
Light four candles (Light four candles) we’ll add color to the night
It can be a beacon to the sea
From four candles for you and me
Five, six candles (seven, eight candles) the world will come alive
Nine, ten candles (more and more candles) we’ll hold our hands up high
It will be so happy for us to see
Just from one candle (just from one candle)
Just from two candles (just from two candles)
The world will begin to glow.
